Three Cows White

Three Cows White 2008 won a Bronze medal at the UKVA 2009 national competition. It is our main wine with approximately 1500 bottles being produced. Depending on the grapes at harvest we may produce one or more white wines. In 2008 we made a crisp, light and fruity dry wine from Reichensteiner and Bacchus varieties.

Three Cows Rosé

Three Cows Rosé won a Highly Commended at the UKVA 2009 national competition. It was a new wine for us in 2007 and is made using methods from both red wine and white wine production. We took red Dornfelder grapes and gently crushed them. These were then left for a number of hours to allow the skins to bleed their colour into the clear juice. The now delicately flavoured pink juice is racked off the skins and the winemaking continues using white wine methods. The end result is a light, rosé with aromas of summer fruits.

Three Cows Red

Three Cows Red is a light and fruity red wine. It is normally produced using a blend of Dornfelder and Triomphé grapes. The wine takes about twice as long to be ready for bottle as the white wines, and this time may include some light oak aging, to round off the finished wine.
